...where Clark High School's Creative Writing and Film students collaborate, share, and showcase their originality, talent, creativity, ideas, feelings, and thoughts about the world and themselves... and where the Clark community, staff, faculty, parents, and citizenry can interact and participate with us in these literary and academic endeavors.

 

Students submit work throughout the Fall 2018Mrs Henckels Welcome Page semester and each create an anthology for his or her final exam at the end of the semester. Through critical thinking, reading, writing, and creating, we are learning. We befriend the English language, a constantly evolving entity, while we polish our skills of grammar and mechanics, fine-tuning our dance with words through poetry, short stories, scripts, essays, and lyrics. Our "clause/claws" involve those bits and pieces of language and literature that "prick" the heart, sting the conscience, invite persuasion and argument, refresh our senses of humor, delight our fantasies, and conjure up reflective memories. We use the English language and technology to share everyday experiences of humanity, growing up in today's world of teen-hood, facing tomorrow's world of young adulthood and beyond, into the world of lifelong learning.
